DirectX 9 .dll for MP
If you have DirectX 9 you will need to download this file and place it in your main WoG folder (the folder that has the h3wog.exe file) in order to play Multiplayer games over the Internet or a LAN network. If you have DirectX 8 or earlier, you will not need this file and it is not needed if you don't play online games of WoG.

To check your version of DirectX, click on the Start button and choose "Run". Type "dxdiag" and click OK. A DirectX diagnostics dialog box should appear. On the first page you will see a list of System Information. The bottom entry is your current DirectX version.

All players in a network game must have this file installed to connect properly to each other.

Treasure Chest 2 A very minor and somewhat rare (1 in 36 chance of appearing) text glitch has been fixed for one of the tome skill reminder message dialog boxes. This bug did not affect game play in any way. Unzip this file to your Datas folder.

Artifact Boost This fixes a just-discovered bug with the Emblem boost that was giving 0 gold on Easy difficulty. All other difficulties worked correctly. Unzip this script02.erm and script02.ert to the Datas folder.

3.58f Script Update
Latest script updates for many 3.58f WoGify scripts, fixing numerous bugs, enhancing interfaces, and in certain cases also adjusting balance and/or adding new functionality.
Place this file in your Updates folder, run h3wupd.exe and follow the instructions. (Make sure WoG is not currently running when you do this.)
 
Warning: Please backup your Data\s folder before installing if you have any customized or new scripts. All existing .erm and .ers files will automatically be moved to Data\s\backup1 but file dates and times will be set to the current date and time. Also, please note that all scripts graphics will be renamed to include the script number and moved to the Data\p folder.
 
IMPORTANT: script corrections made after this update will be posted separately in this section. Please install this update first, and then download and unzip the individual script updates to your Data\s folder. In this way we can provide you with updates on a continual basis.
